The Hammer Gauntlet bowling ball takes the hybrid version of the proven Semtex CFI coverstock and pairs it with the all new Gauntlet asymmetric core. This ball was designed for heavy oil conditions and was made to be aggressive at the mid-lane as well as the backend. When compared to the Hammer Scandal bowling ball the Gauntlet will change down the lane faster and more aggressively. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.

COMMENTS

The new Gauntlet has a really special ball motion that we have not seen in the Hammer brand. This ball is STRONG and with a strong continuous ball motion down the lane as well. I LOVE my Scandal & Scandal Pearls and the Gauntlet fits in between these two balls. The Gauntlet has a hybrid cover with the Carbon Fiber Infused just like the Scandal, which provides a little more length and stronger backend motion than the Scandal. The Gauntlet needs head oil to really enjoy the ball motion this ball provides. The great thing about this strong rolling piece is you can keep moving left and the ball does not stop moving toward the pocket. I am really impressed with this ball motion from the Hammer brand.

I think this ball will be a must have ball for those that are looking for something offers a great motion that does not stop rolling in the backend – it really continues through the pin deck! Very versatile ball… You will be impressed!

With the new 3 year warrantee that Hammer provides for this ball, this is the BEST value for your money!

Likes: This ball being a hybrid surprised me as to how angular it was and still kept the same forward roll while changing directions downlane.   Rolls great - corners great - and still makes the pins move on the side walls.   It is the missing link on patterns that have a hair more to a lot more oil.  Such a great piece and it compliments my diesel so well

Gauntlet has a new core wrapped in the Carbon Fiber and the Carbon Fiber Infused cover stock, which produces a strong reaction that out corners my Scandal.  Great heavy oil selection with big hitting power.
