Yesterday was the first time i threw the Blue Vibe. The condition was similar but way lighter than it usually is. I left the cover OOB finish which is pretty smooth like 2000 abalon. I threw my first couple of shots in practice way outside and the ball cleared the heads with ease and arced down the lane and set. It hit like a mad truck. I tried an up the back release and it went straighter but still came up. I was very impress how it responded to different hand postiions. Excellent.

When the lanes started to break down and dried out forcing me to play closer to the gutter, i had to really go up the back release with less grip pressure and up my speed to about 17 mph. If you grabbed it a tiny bit or gave it any side turn the ball would grab early and set through the nose. The backends had a little carry down which if you pulled it, it didn't snap left, it gradually went left. Over all it was an interesting night.

I favor this Vibe over the Original Purple Pearl. The Blue Vibe is smooth rolling with a controlled backend reaction where as the Purple Vibe was more snappy.

Everyone should have this type of ball in their arsenal or tournament bag.

Typical Oil Conditions for league- medium to bone dry

4 game league

Game 1 - typically a medium oil surface, I start by throwing 12 out to 6 (where boards are dry) and get a really smooth arc from mid-lane into the pocket.  I tend to leave alot of 10 pins with this ball on medium lane conditions.  This ball hits the pocket hard and carries through the pins really well.

Game 2 - start moving from 15-17 out to 6 as the lanes are drying up.  This is where the ball seems to be coming in.....At about 45-48 ft as the carry-down dries up, the ball seems to come alive.  I am getting a really strong arc into the pocket.  with 5 man teams, I find myself moving 1 board every 4 frames or so at this point

Game 3 - severe oil breakdown.  Change line from 22-25 out to about 10 (varies dependant on my speed.  Break at 45 ft becoming more angular with the dry surface conditions.  Hits pins like a freight train and find myself leaving fewer 10 pins.

Game 4 - bone dry (thanks to us playing behind a Saturday afternoon league) - Ball is at its best.....Ball carries well down the lane and breaks hard into the pocket.  I am, at this point throwing from about the 30 out to 10 with sharp break at about the 48-50 foot mark.  If I don't get it down lane and out to the 10, I find myself coming back across the head pin.

Needless to say, this ball is a great ball for drier lane conditions.  It gets down the lane and still has enough backend to slap the pocket hard and drive the pins home....I am not impressed with its performance on oily lane conditions; however, that is not what this ball is meant for.  If you need a good dry lane ball, this one will do you fine....Cheap and performs as advertised...

well i am relatively new bowler with only three months under my belt. medium pace with a decent amount of revs on the ball. However, this is about a ball not me. got the ball drilled to go long with a snap to it and boy did i get it. on oil the ball wont loose any energy until it hits the dry and then it explodes into the pocket. What pin reaction this ball gets and the move to the pocket off the oil is legendary This ball is anything but a dry lane ball. what a ball by hammer.

Arsenal - black widow , vibe blue , white dot

I bought a blue vibe a few weeks ago.Tonight was my 3rd time useing it in league..Shot  my first 700,,had games of 216,,257,,233..I am useing a 14lb 3 inch pin out..Ball has a verry nice ark into the pocket..our conditions are light oil from 15 out..I would highly recamend this ball to anyone..

Drilled label leverage. This ball was stronger than I expected. I keep it well polished so I can use it for outside angles on the shortest PBA and sport shot patterns. This ball glides through oil, reacts consistently off the dry and finishes with a continuous arcing motion. I am able to play outside longer than others as the ball does not overreact as the lanes transition. I have been very pleased with it's performance.

i bowled my first 300 with this ball and a 795 series. this ball is amazing. i was looking for a light to medium oil ball and this is it. i usually throw down and in with it and this ball glides thru the heads and once she hits the backend it snaps in. i wasnt expecting that much of a hard flipping backend with the ball but i like the way it reacts. it really makes the pins fly around. this ball also works well for inside angles too.
