COMMENTS
This ball should be a killer on the House Shot for all styles. For myself I would have love to use it on shorter patterns that tend to hook too much. The combination of Hybrid coverstock and Core was very easy to control. Easily retained energy for the backend without going sideways. Higher rev players can use the Ratchet instead of dropping down to entry level equipment to control lanes that are over/under.
Tweeners can stay in the same part of the lane all night without leaving their comfort zone. The Ratchet has the ability to delay reaction as the oil breaks down, without changing lines. Big plus in my book!
Strokers can play closer to the dry boards and still get the ball down the lane with plenty of gas in the tank when it hits the pins.
The cover is not weak by any means. It just doesn't read the lane too early and die like most "big" equipment.
Easily a benchmark ball for any style!!
