Picked up a barely used sling blade from a guy at my home lanes. It's 15.3 lbs. with a 2-inch pin, not sure about top weight. He had it drilled pretty strong (stacked), and i kept it the same.
I needed a good med./light ball to use on my usual house shot, and this ball is a great fit. It gets through the heads with relative ease, but does need a little head oil. If it catches a good deal of dry, it will take off. It starts up early for a reactive pearl, but that is actually one of the positives with this ball. Since it has a nice arc instead of a flip, it is very controllable. You have a lot of area with this ball, but more so if you miss left than right (righty).
Some thing I noticed with this ball is the carry. 99.9% of the time, the hit/carry is explosive. But the other .1% of the time, it is confusing. I have left multiple 8-10's and a few 5-7's on a shot that last frame absolutely blew the rack. Besides that, though, this carries better than any other ball I have (on the condition it is meant for). Carries light hits every shot, and takes care of the 10 pin with ease.

With it's stronger drilling, I can use it on almost from med/heavy on down. Still, though, it is too strong for true dry, but I'm sure that a weaker drilling would take care of that.
control - 10/10
carry - 9/10
I cant wait to get a power diesel or the switch blade. MIKE
