Likes:  The new Hammer Bad Intentions has a stronger coverstock than the previous ball, the Bad Ass; therefore is a great compliment to the original with a stronger motion in the midlanes & more continuation throughout the backends. I was impressed with the ball motion of the Bad Ass using a new cover/core combo for the Hammer line, so the new Bad Intentions lives up to hype that it has been receiving in the past month (used a lot for staffers in the USBC Masters tourney). The Bad Intentions really provides a new ball shape that we have not seen in the Hammer line for a while now which rolls very heavily in the midlanes with a strong backend motion that does not stop rolling through the pins.
This ball compliments the other High Performance ball s from Hammer, the Black Widow Legend & Deadly Aim. What I have seen with this ball after throwing on a few different lane patterns is that it handles the transition better than any ball that we have in the Hammer line. This ball motion is so consistent and is very versatile ball that you can play on the fresh & all the way left moving into the 5th arrow if needed. With the Juiced cover prep, this ball does get through the fronts with ease, and provides a really strong, heavy rolling motion through the mid-lane that does not stop. This ball does not quit when moving inside and is hungry for more oil, so I would recommend if you are thinking of moving in with this ball, do it. This is definitely a possible “Ball of the Year” winner from the Hammer brand!

Dislikes:  Drier lane patterns – there are other Hammer balls for these patterns. I would recommend this ball for the medium heavier / heavy oil patterns.

With the new 3 year warrantee that Hammer provides for this ball, this is the BEST bang for your buck!
This ball has a great motion that does not stop rolling in the backend – it really continues through the pin deck! Very versatile ball…

LANE CONDITION

Length: 38' & 45'

Volume: Heavy

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): USBC 2013 & Challenge Pattern/Kegle Flex machine

COMMENTS

Likes:  Heavy roll up front (factory box finish shined with factory polish), strong continuous backend.  The ball hits with a lot of force and very predictable reaction.  This would be my heavy oiled pattern ball or trying to create a burn area.

Dislikes:  It needs head oil upfront if dulled up and I would use a hook stop layout for fresh.  I went with 80 x 4 x 20 Dual Layout which once it hits the backend.  It's pretty strong.

I'm pleased with Hammer's new line up.  Thank you Hammer and Nothing hits like a Hammer!

The Bad Intentions so far has been a beast. Have shot 3 300, 3 800 and a few 10-11 in a row with it. It is so predictable. If you are looking for a ball for the fresh whether a tournament or a house shot this ball cannot be beat. This ball is 5 boards strong than a GB. You can open up a lane quick with this one. if this ball isnt ball of the year and a winner at Nationals something is wrong.

Likes: This is a strong component in my arsenal.  This ball gives me a look that is stronger than the Bad Ass being that it is a little earlier while still being continual.  A great compliment to my Red Legend as it rolls sooner but keeps the same look and makes transitioning super simple.  She just stomps a mud hole in the oil and walks it dry!

Dislikes:  Obviously this ball does not like dry lanes.  But.....DUH!  ;D

Bad Intentions uses the same Spheroid core of the BAD ASS amped up with the Juiced Xtreme solid coverstock.  Same great midlane motion of the Bad Ass but with a stronger cover.  This ball was easily 5 boards stronger than the Bad Ass for me.  A really nice 1, 2 punch from the same product line.

BAD Intentions with GOOD results!!!
I tend to struggle on heavier oil patterns since I have a higher ball speed and a medium rev rate but this ball allows me to utilize my A game and not try to be so perfect!

I have used this on most of the medium - long WTBA Patterns (38-45') and had success.

Mine is currently a 3'4" pin with it pretty high above the ring finger and the cg underneath. This layout gives me length but has yet a stronger backend allowing the ball to get through the oil.

I have put 1000 surface on this ball pretty much every time I use it so it's fresh and has some teeth to grab the oil. This ball goes with me everywhere and is an asset to anyones bag if you are looking for a ball for medium-heavier oil patterns!
