Side Weight: 3/4 oz. Positive
Thumb Weight: 3/8 oz.
Surface: OOB
First Impressions: Good Lord look at the backend reaction on this ball.
Lanes: AMF HPL Synthetics
Summary:
This ball has one of the most aggressive angular backend reactions out of the entire RAW HAMMER series. The RAW HAMMER BURN has a skid snap reaction that I feel I can use if I get too much backend reaction from the Hot Sauce without having to sacrifice entry angle into the pocket.
Comparison/Contrast:
ACID vs. BURN
NOTE: ACID has a coat of Factory Finish added onto the cover as well!
ACID hooks more but doesn't have quite as much pop on the backend as does the BURN. The BURN looks like someone is down the lane and just kicks the ball left, I really have never seen a ball skid/snap as hard from the mid price performance price tag range such as this.
So far First Impressions are pretty good as this ball will get playing time tomorrow night in league. Will post a full and more detailed review and may possibly put a video package together for you guys.
Thanks for reading and if you have any questions, feel free to PM me. God Bless!
