Today i got my 1000 grit abralon pads from "bowl me over"(who is excellent by the way) and i had one of the asst. mechanic/friend. He used one of them on my big deal after cleaning it, and i hit the lanes. Pins went flyin all over the place, and the big mmmmmmm POW!!! I used to hear i heard it again. Thanks everyone and thank you "bowlmeover".
On a side note i have to also say that i got my "Overtime" polished to 600, and the backend on it is ridiculous, and i was not getting as many revs as i do,because i hurt my wrist last week. Shot 158 with a hurt wrist and the ballz came flyin back. I think Overtime is somewhat better than the one. The next one should be called "Double Time"(Hey EBONITE-if u use this name i should get a free ball)

Question about your overtime...What was it polished to? I assume the 600 grit was a typo. Anyways, nice to hear you found a good grit to use. So many people have NO idea about changing cover grits yet it's quite important.

Anytime...ak i believe it was 600. I didn't polish i watched Steve(friend/asst mech) and i he rattled off some numbers i said lets try 600, and we did. It's some polish our coach(School team) had in the back. So we changed it to that.Intially there was ebonite factory polish on it but we moved it to 600.
