I have both. Absolut Curve is not a ball meant for heavy oil, if you want a symmetric from Hammer that can handle oil look at the Absolut Hook which has a stronger cover than the Curve.
The Cold Blood can definitely handle oil, I have a relatively mild layout on both balls and there is a big difference between the Cold Blood and Absolut Curve. With surface the Cold Blood has handled sport shots without a problem and I polished it last week because I wanted to use it more on our house shot. I've had success with both balls playing on different conditions and different lines

Cold Blood - 50 x 3 x 30 with a shallow p3 hole
Absolut Curve - 50 x 5 x 50 no hole (considering adding one)
