We ordered some of the Raw Hammers for the shop. I decided right off the bat I was going to punch an Anger when they arrived. I'm thinking of a stacked layout as I've sold my heavy oil ball recently.

I've watched the buddies video and it sure looks nice. But, I'm 99.9% positive our house shot isn't as dry as that one on the outside. Even the crankers play right of 15 at the arrows.

With only 4 reviews in the review section, all positive I'm looking for more testimonials.

I had one for a month Andrew. It didn't drilled 4 1/2" pin to PAP and CG stacked below. It was an OK ball but not a super ball. I traded it to mrbowlingnut for a Yeah Baby. Ask Barry what he thinks of it and how he drilled it. I picked up a Blast Zone last weekend on a Buddies special still haven't got to use it but will today in a tourney. I'm sure you'll get some raving reviews from Erin and chi. It just didn't suit me. I wouldn't go off the Buddies video but that's just me. Good luck.

I'm not, thats why I'm on here discussing the ball. I don't throw the ball like that 'video star', but it is a good idea of what the ball is about.

I had 2 Anger's drilled exactly the same. I made a huge mistake drilling these two balls the way I did. I must of had a major brain fart because I drilled them stacked leverage. This pin position for me is way too strong for my game. However, here's what I found out with the Anger.

I had some great games with these strong drilled Anger's. I really liked how they rolled even though drilled too strong. With this layout the ANger had a ton of mid-lane and continuation on the back end. Great ball and layout for heavier longer oil. Since I had two of them drilled the same I ended up polishing one and left the other in box condition. The polished Anger was about 7 boards weaker than in box condition. The polish did help this ball retain some energy and made it more playable on many conditions.

I ended up trading both of these Anger's back into the pro-shop I use. The balls were just too strong for me. I was finding myself having to keep moving left every other frame just to keep the ball in the pocket.

I recently got rid of all my equipment (3 to 4 weeks ago)and bought a new arsenal of balls. One of the new balls in my arsenal was another Anger. This time I went with a much better layout for my game, which is pin above the bridge 5.5" from my pap and no balance hole.

I have less than 1 game on my new Anger but was right about the layout I went with. I can already tell i'm going to be able to use this Anger a lot more than my other ones. The ball still has an awesome mid-lane and controllable but strong back end motion.

Just put your favorite layout on it and your set! The balls characteristics will still show no matter what layout's on it.

I got an Anger earlier in the year, and it's priceless. Mine's pin over the bridge, cg kicked right slightly, and a weight hole. This ball is a beast. It's worked great on heavier volumes of oil or longer patterns.

I took mine too 500 abralon, it really came to life on the oil. The drilling helps it have some great backend, and still gets through the oil with no problems. I can play straight up the boards with it, or swing it, and still get great results. Even at the 1000/2000 (can't remember which one)factory it's a beast.

Two of my buddies drilled one up stacked leverage, next to the fingers, and this ball is sick with that layout. Waaay to strong for our THS, and can handle any amount of oil they've come across. It's comparable to my SCB drilled the same way.

I don't think you could go wrong with one of these. Next to the BW and Cherry Vibe, this is a must have ball. You can't go wrong with any of your favorite layouts you'd chose.

He's right, I love mine. Even though I drilled it up when they first came out and used it all the rest of the summer, I'm still using it. Making it one of the longer lasting of the "new" balls I've used. I drilled mine up leverage and I know we have more oil then the Buddies video. Plus I'm not the rev master with revs to spare. For me, brand new, this ball had pop off the back end to spare. It out hooked my Black Widow and Total NV by miles. I was surprised, but it is a big hooking ball, and probably the biggest hooking ball I've thrown in a while. At the price point you really can beat it. Now with probably hundreds of games on it, its calmed down, more arc-y. I keep it touched up nearly every set with 1000 abralon now and it still performs if a bit more quietly.

BUT, I do remember you singing the Anger's praises early in the bowling fall season chi with your stacked layouts. So, what changed?

If I was guessing, I'd say Chi can't find enough oil/condition to get the leverage Anger out. He'd find a lot more used with the pin over the bridge ball for sure.

This ball is a Hell of a deal, and a very strong ball. It should be around for a long time.

Scott, my Anger's that were drilled strong rolled awesome. I bought these Anger's at the end of the summer. I was practicing every week in a house that uses a lot of oil and these Anger's worked great. When league started things were a little different. My league uses 4 patterns this season and only one of them is really heavy and long. On this long pattern the Anger performed great! My league also uses another long pattern but the volume of oil is not really heavy. On this pattern I was finding myself always moving to keep it in the pocket. So FATBOY is correct in saying that there just wasn't enough oil for me to get the reaction I wanted from the ball. I should of probably kept both of my Anger's but don't like having too many balls in an arsenal at one time.

I eventually ended up getting rid of all my equipment and bought a new arsenal of balls and a new Anger is one of them. I put a different layout on my new Anger. With this new layout the Anger should be a lot more playable for me on more patterns. I think it was a good decision on my part to buy a new arsenal. My new arsenal already paid for itself last week!

So in closing your right about me singing praises about this ball. The Anger is flat out awesome! Even drilled really strong it's a fun ball to roll. I'm still shocked at how strong this ball is. This ball can handle heavy oil with out any problems.

It has been busier than hell at the shop. My anger arrived Wed but I haven't had time to drill it.

While I finally got the opportunity to punch it out tonight.

3 3/8s pin to pap

I still have to put a weight hole in it after I throw it Saturday.

Well, I bowled with the youths today on the Scorpion. I tried to use it prior to putting a balance hole in it. It just wouldn't read the pattern like I hoped outside of ten.

I ended up using my OI, moving in to 17 and playing alittle swing to 10, shooting an okay 586, missing the hole once the first game...195.

Anyway, after the league got over with I took the Anger back into the shop and put a flare increasing hole on my axis. I took it back down to the Scorpion and had a look with it that I didn't have earlier.

I'm going to try to use it again later today on our house shot. Thus far, I'm pretty impressed by the aggressiveness of this ball.
