Anger...smooth rico
« on: November 09, 2007, 02:26:49 PM »
Alright all.. I have been testing the Angers with a Neg pin and Rico. I must say I have a great Combination when it comes to a wide open shot snd one that breaks down quickly. Of course the Neg Pin is polished to 2000 grit and the rico 1200 grit.

Anyone using something similar?

What do you mean by negative pin?

Sorry term we use out here. The pin is in a negative position in relation to set up and grip.

Basic 6 x 5.5 or 5.5 x 5 drilling. Basic idea set up for right hand bowler. Can also be used for left in reverse.

I think the 5" plus or Neg drill would work good, but to me the cover on that ball is too strong for the rico drill. That ball already has a ton of midlane and likes to roll early. And for me the rico drill would roll way too soon. I would like to see those cover preps be the other way around.

Rico= 2000 polished
6" PtoP = 2000 no polish

very possible. I often use the Rico to control a particular house shot in mid to end buff of the pattern. Additionally, it is great to open up particular patterns. When play more to the speed side it is great to get inside of everyone.

Both drills have played equally well on the blue vibes.
