Would a Onyx Vibe drilled with the Low RG layout be good for the Kegel Beaten Path? Will be bowling on old synthetics at Michigan State Tounament.

To be honest with you, I have bowled on Beaten Path this whole last season for High School bowling.  It is a very easy pattern, and it seems to play like a house shot on steroids.  I would save your money, and just take what you have, because i guarantee that you will be able to score well with whatever you have.. It tends to play right up the track, but you can also move inside as well.  Hope that helps

I actually bowled in the state tournament this year. I used my onyx vibe (drilled pin up) once the lanes broke down, in the start of the day it would miss the break point. I shot just under 1800 for the 9 game set and broke even in brackets. I would say this ball helped quite a bit when my other balls started to over react. Hope this helps

for me personally because of my my high rev rate, the Onyx Vibe is a pretty strong ball. I took mine and did a 5x3.5 (which is a 45x5x37 using the dual angle layout technique) and i put a big enough weight hole on my PAP/p1 to cut down on the flare and backend motion. one of the houses i bowl at uses this pattern as their house shot and it works really well there.
