Title: Anybody tried to change OOB on Pain

Has anybody tried to change the out of box finish on the Raw Hammer Pain.  If so what kind of results did you get?

I went 4000 grit polished and won a $250 scholarship lol.

I was -94 the day before and ended up at +405

The ball gave me a lot of room and the ball was very controllable on the back. Thru 11 games including matchplay, I think that's right, I only moved 5 boards left. Again it gave me an awesome look to the pocket with alot of room to the right. It never checked up early, never burned up, and I could get the same amazing pin carry that I had when it was at 2000 grit.

I have tried this ball with many different cover grits.  I like the PAIN at each grit i've tried.  It all depends on the conditions i'm bowling on.  The PAIN is by far my favorite ball.

I polished mine. It works the best so far.
Early roll with a nice controllable backend.
I used a 200 grit abralon pad then 4000 grit abralon pad.
Then polished with Brunsiwck factory polish.
