Hey yall.  I found a 16lb, 3-4", 2oz TW Blue Vibe in my garage a few months ago (along with a NIB 16lb Fury Pearl, and NIB Ebonite No Limit).  With people spending in excess of $200 for Jet Black Vibes and the Vibe XR, what kind of sale could this ball possibly command?

  • I have a name, therefore no preferred pronouns.
Probably about $120. Would be higher if it was 15# or even 14#. The demand for 16#'s is not near as high.

It's tough. I have a New Blue 15lb Blue Vibe and i consider it a high value ball.

Value is what someone is willing to pay.  I'm not a collector of bowling balls so to me it's value is what it was originally or even less than that.  There are plenty of other options out there for bowling balls, I don't need to pay a premium on rarity...

At 16lbs $100-120 is correct. At 15lbs $200 max. Part of the problem is that so many of the later versions use some great aggressive covers and where limited availability. The Blue Vibe is hard to find but isn't enough to make it reach those higher prices.

You can easily list it on ebay and see.

Here is my thought..  While I wanted to get one of those XR blue Vibes, i laughed when guys put them on ebay for 200$$ or more..  I mean yea it's a limited ball... But for that much $$ I could get two or three balls, that are just as good..

The whole Rare ball finds are nice, but when guys are putting such a extreme price on some of the balls it makes me roll my eyes..

Like, I snagged a NIB rotogrip Theory off ebay for 135$  all while there was 2 or 3 other Theory's @ 300$ +

With all of the ball releases these days, it's kind of hard to drop a lot of money on a mid to entry level ball, when you have new balls coming out all the time which are just as good...
