In the market for 2 new balls, and I'd like two that i can throw on a house shot. More will be added to the arsenal later, but I'm starting with two. I'm pretty set on the BWP, i can't make myself NOT want it! To compliment that I'm thinking of something solid, possible a NM, NMB, or BW. What do you think?

To complement the black widow pearl on a ths shot I would definitely go with a NM. I have yet to find an oil ths that this ball can't handle. The BWP will give you that nice back end snap. The NM will be more controllable and give you a steady line.
I never have a carry problem with my NM and it adjusts with the lanes really well. That would be a great 1-2 punch.

I really depends on your local conditions, if you plan on leaving the BWP in box condition and if you want a step up or down.
Personally I still like the BW more than my BWP (both in box) on fresh conditions...but they do make a great 1-2 punch when the lanes start to break down. I also like what I've seen of the Cherry Vibe thus far and if you are willing to scuff the surface of the BWP just a bit than I would look at a Vibe.

I'm looking at using the BWP after it starts to break down a touch. based on the idea that i should start with a stronger ball and go down in "hook potential" from there, i'd like to have something a little stronger. also, with the BWP as a "breaking down" ball, it will definitely give me the length that I miss out on toward the end of the night.

no offense to brunswick or anything, and i'm not trying to start an argument, but i had a fury...and hated after many surface adjudstments/weight holes, and redrills, that particular ball was not for me. i get what you're saying though. something like the no mercy...or beat'n.

I think the ANGER and BWP would work fine for a THS.

I'd also suggest the Anger then the BWP or the Toxic but it sounds like you have your heart set on the BWP.

I would get the Black Widow Pearl and a Cherry Vibe (for drier lane conditions).
Definitely would get the Anger for Heavy Oil conditions.

I know you can read all the numbers you want, and sometimes, there are balls that are on paper weaker than others, and turn out to be super strong. is the anger of those balls? how much of a difference do you see between the anger and NM (and NMB if you've thrown it)? after watching the anger video on buddies i'm strongly considering the BWP and Anger instead of the Beat'n. lmk.

I just bought an ANGER and only used it one night. So it's hard for me to decide which ball would be stronger. The ANGER is strong and does seem to be stronger than the PAIN was.
Now i'm not sure of the ANGER is stronger than the NM at the same cover grit. I will find out soon enough. I will say that i'm very happy with my intial use of the ANGER. I really like the way this ball rolls. I can't wait to use it more.

In my opinion, the NM would be a better fit for a THS, primarily because it is a smooth arcing reaction. I get a good 10 boards more overall hook with the Anger compared to the NM.
