My favorite Faball was the Red Reactive Hammer. I actually have one drilled, and another NIB at home.
As for Ebonite Hammer, I have only ever thrown the Blade, and didn't like it at all.

I had good success with the Sling Blade and the black PURE Hammer. I'm still working with the Doom and Black Widow.
Because it was my last 300, I'd have to say the Sling Blade.
As for the Faball era, it has to be the urethane Blue Hammer.

And I do believe that The Black Widow Pearl is going to out do them both. I have already scored 232, 247, 219, and 268 with it and those were my first five games! (the very first was 147 because we had to tweak the thumb a little)

Hammer - The Black Widow has obviously really done it and proven itself for Hammer and works for virtually everyone that throws it... so the Widow is my pick for Hammer thus far...
The Widow Pearl might surpass its predecessor however because it is just that good... but too early to say its the best

My favorite hammer of all time is one that I don't even own yet, and I am just basing this on what I have seen others do with it and that is the Black Widow, this is probably the best all around ball since the Ebonite V2, I will have one soon, oh yes I will.

I mean think about it guys....when the Blue Hammer came out, EVERYBODY had one because it was THE best ball. Then came the 3-D High Rev....core design by Mo Pinel...again a must have. Then was the Crimson Sledgehammer...again core design by Mo Pinel.

The dull Red fit in between the Black and dull Blue in terms of hook potential. I have the balls listed above in order from least hook to most.
