Well...i own a Sharp and threw a Switch for 1 hour at a demo day. If you want something to read the lanes then it is the Sharp Blade all the way. You want similar characteristics so the Sling, well, the sharp has the same core (just different diff and rg). The Sharp will have a continous arc thoughout the lane starting very early compared to the sling blade. These two make a great 1-2 punch. The Sling for med, and the Sharp for carry down and heavier conditions along with over under conditions (sharp will smooth out the oil condition)

you dont even have to change the cover on the sharp blade to use it medium. For about 5 months the Sharp blade was the only ball i brought with me to league. You just have to realise that it all depends on drilling, and hopw aggressive that you want the ball to be. With my ball (pic in profile) i have to play a straighter line, or swing 2-3 boards at most. And i cant play past the first arrow with it because of its medium load particle which will cause a roll out at my feet. So drill accordingly, test it, and then decide if a polished or just grit change is necessary.
