Is on the approved list...approved Oct. '07. Hopefully this isn't just another international release...probably, but we can keep our fingers crossed!

Hmm...  even if it is a stateside release, wouldn't you think they'd hold off on releasing it like they did with the BWP due to the popularity of the BW?

I haven't heard near as many rave reviews for the BWP as the original BW.

I think the lack of rave reviews for it...is because when the BW came out...it was unheard of! A really big surprise you know? So with the pearl, people expected a fantastic ball. They feel less of a need to spread the word, because everyone expected it to be great (as it is). That's my theory anyway.

It would be against the usual Hammer-like pattern of spacing release times out a little...especially balls within the same series.

Another thing I thought of...wouldn't a great name be the Black Widow BITE? To my knowledge the actuall spider doesn't sting...does it? As far as I know, it's defense is the BITE.

LOL, good point 302...and CZ, that's how the BWP is for us too. I'm in west michigan, and it seems like there's at least one BWP on each ball return every night! Last Thursday there was 3 on the return, before I put mine up there...so I threw the Beat'n. That's a heck of a ball too!

nice!! I was at my center on thursday for my league on thursday...a guy went into the proshop and ordered 5 for his whole team! Hammer as a whole is doing great around here though. Toxics and Dooms are selling like mad...a NMB here or there...but the BWP is crazy!

The BWP is the hottest ball on the market.  The BWP is a little speed sensitive but when it finds it's line it explodes into the pocket.

Kind of had that feeling with mine with the 4000+polish OOB finish on it...but once i knocked the polish off...took 2000 abralon to it...whole different animal...not even a little sensitivity...and still maintains that explosive backend.
