Bite?
« on: December 28, 2007, 12:03:58 AM »
Does anyone seriously need more backend than the Black Widow?

Someone needs the bite?  Really?

I need it for sure.  THS is 42ft and carrydown from a low avg mix league takes away from our backend

That is why you take that into consideration when laying out the ball.  Drill it/surface prep it to take away a little of that backend and make it more controllable.  You do the same thing with the Bite as any other ball.

I use the original BW at 2000 grit. I wonder if the Bite at 4000 grit will be about the same, or will it be a lot bigger.

If I have money at the time, I will be getting a bite to replace my BW.  I put a ton of games on it, and just did a surface job to it, and it's not really any good anymore.

I'll use the same drilling as I have on both the solid and pearl and see what it does.  If it's too strong, I take it down a notch

I'll do like I did with the Widow...wait 1 1/2 years then drill one after everyone and their friend has one. Once they "retire" them I'll punch one out.
