suggestions for Nasty layout
« on: January 14, 2010, 12:19:45 PM »
Hello, I was wanting to know what would be a good layout for a new Nasty, my specs are:
rev rate: 520
ball speed: 19-22
high tracker
PAP: 4 15/16 up 1/2
span 4 5/8  4 3/4 rt handed

I have one nasty drilled with pin above the bridge (5 1/8 from pap)MB is at 45* from center line of grip. The ball is polished up very shiny with storm moonshine. I am looking for a little stronger motion at the beginning of league when the lanes are still fresh with oil. The 45* angle drill is by far my favorite drilling to use so should I just drill up another Nasty and leave box finish alone. If you have suggestion please post them or PM me

thanks

shannon

If you like the 45degree MB I would try a stronger pin and maybe even below the fingers or into the ring finger.  I might try to get one with a long enough pin such that you have some thumb weight and could put a hole "down" to help it start up a bit if drilling and surface alone won't get you all the way there.
