Post by: xwingnut on June 12, 2006, 12:01:13 PM
Just had one given to me. Its in great shape but I want to refinish it back to box condition. Does anyone know what the box surface was and what is anyones opinion on this ball??   Thanks

xwingnut - Bowlingballreviews.com has some info on it.

It says matte finish on it. I'm guessing maybe a Gray or White Scotch-Brite type pad should do it.

Hope this helps!

I still have mine though don't use it anymore. One of the last 16lbers... Believe the factory surface was around 800 grit matte. I pretty much kept it in box condition and it was fairly versatile. Very even, predictable roll and excellent carry. Had mine drilled pin under ring, cg kicked out with small wt hole. Ball flared a good 4-6" and was more an oil ball for me at the time. Great ball!
