Black Widow
« on: November 11, 2006, 04:57:49 PM »
I just bought a Hammer Black Widow off of allstarbowling-joe last week. Wow it hooks a ton. I drilled it with a control layout and it still had a lot of movement. If you have this make sure you stay down and get it out and project it down the lane or its going left way left. I was wondering anyone know a good shine substance I can put on mine to make it skid more. LMK. I believe this ball will work well for me but it needs to be shined up royally. The ball hits the pins and they go flying. I'll let you know what happens in the future with some shine.

what part of the lane dose you're widow hook, mine is all backend and I feel that polish would make it snap harder and become more uncontrollable.I've found more surace tones down the snap reaction but the ball still has good length, but my widow is drilled skid/flip.

six pack, I was about to drill up a B/W also skid/flip. I don't have a ton of hand, so I was thinking this drill would help me out. How's your's react to med and med/heavy oil ? Our center is 'playing ' around with the shot so we never know what we get until ya toss the rock.

Thanks

dead69pool, As far as a shine, depends on how much you want, length, delayed reaction from ebonite or track are bot good at adding a bit of length, storm makes some good polish as well. JMO.

THe ball just doesn't go long enough on the drill. It's close but still sine would get me the couple feet I need.
