my teammate gave me a black widow ball and i thought my average was going to go up but it hasnt. i got around a 185 average in my bowling league but i have been struggling as of late. the lanes get dry fast and that affects my ball delivery. i also have a eliminator bowling ball which has also been a problem. i clean the balls for the last few weeks by putting in a bucket of water wih a mixture of different substances like detergent, pine cleaner, and others. i have run out of areas to help my game and i need some help

If you are having problems with your ball delivery, What helped me a ton was You Tube Video
Dick Ritger Bowling Tips, I am a 185 bowler, after watching the video and applying the correct technique I shot 3 weeks, 640,705 674, Great improvement sometimes we just need small reminders to sharpen our game and add renewed focus. The video is from the 90's but a lot of great information.
I Know your question your question was about the bowling balls, but believe me this video really helped me.
Good luck... Hope this Helps

Put wax on it...50-75 cents worth if you have a wax machine. My widow died out around 60 games and I put it in the old lustre wax machine for 75 cents and the ball hooks more than ever. Ive never cleaned the ball either, so stop trying to clean it.

first off getting a ball doesn't make your average go up...second is the ball drilled for you or is it the same as it was given to you? third, what condition is the ball in? Most Important thing though is that don't rely on a bowling ball to increase your average, rely on yourself to improve your skill sets to get out of your rut
