That pretty much all of Hammers line up is low rg, high diff equipment?  I'd like to see a higher rg core/ball.  I think this is the only thing missing in their line up....

Your thoughts?

That seems to be the trend in general.  Manufacturers are mostly going to low RG reactives for a great majority of their lines.  Very little higher RG's and not many particle releases.  Legends/Lanemasters seem to be the exception.

I'm not sure there's a need for a higher rg ball.  I have a blue vibe and it get's very good length on lighter oil conditions.  

I like the direction Ebonite has taken the Hammer brand.  Hammer's line up is pretty dam good right now.  I think a bolwer can build one hell of an arsenal out of Hammer's current line.

Of course there's still things I wouldn't mind seeing.  I would like to see a particle pearl type of cover on a Hammer core.  However, with the solid reactives being so strong there's probably not a need for particle anymore.

With todays surfaces and oil patterns, Its more important to get the ball to read the lane sooner or get the ball rolling sooner, specially on tougher shots. That is better accomplished with low RG stuff.

I feel Hammer balls tend to use different coverstocks to make up for the needing a high RG core ball.  Everyone says coverstock is the most important factor making a bowling ball and Hammer is using it to the max

Won't argue with you there.....

I have never matched up with a high rg ball.  My ball speed is probably too fast to allow the ball to perform properly.  Either way, it was just and observation.

I didn't realize that the balls were so low rg really, the ball shape doesn't really indicate it.  I was throwing the total NV today on a shot that dominated it and it went forever.  When I got smart and switched to a red zone with a val drill of all things, suddenly I had a reaction again.  It was odd, either way, I think the line up is purdy good.  The widow is a nice early ball with some pop, the ebo stuff gets more down lane..  overall good stuff.
