Black Widow Bite or Roto Grip Cell
« on: February 20, 2008, 08:24:42 PM »
I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions for either of these two balls. I'm a right-handed stroker with speeds around 17 mph, playing straight up on a shot that is medium-heavy oiled with around 40 feet of length. My desired reaction from either of these two balls would be that it could trawl through heavy oil while maintaining a more controllable hook motion in medium oil. I currently own a Storm Shift and a Black Widow Pearl. While they do nicely for medium oil, I'm having trouble with heavy oil patterns. My RPM is around 250. Thanks in advance for all your opinions.

I have both...LOVE...BOTH.

the bite...goes much longer w/much bigger back end...

the cell...sooner...but keeps going

these comp.s at box finish...so not totally fair

depends on the reaction shape you want...hockey stick or banana

but for HEAVY oil....CELL....for me...at current box finish.
