Black widow cover rumors
« on: August 08, 2007, 08:23:59 AM »
I spoke with a friend that works for Ebonite International that there is no sharing of covers and cores going on in between any of the four companies.

In fact he said that they keep it fresh and each company is trying to out do each other by each doing it's own research and development. That ball test data from these tests are not shared with other brand managers and the brand managers are not told in advance of the other brands even having a test.

So there you have it no sharing of information and competition between themselves which is good for the Track,Columbia, Hammer and the Ebonite lovers.

Bowlnut--I have some swamp land in Florida that I can give you a good
deal on.  Let me get this straight--The mother company would not force
a subsidiary to share some technological improvements with its sister
companies?  Common sense.

They lie to get people to start rumors favorable to the company.
Keeping secrets in new technology from companies under your
corporate umbrella makes no sense.

Just like alot of boneheads on here calling BS even when you get real answers from people working for the companies involved.

That is why nobody from Ebonite/Hammer bothers with you guys, i love all the people that slam even when they get answer that do not like.

This site has gone from being pretty good site to a bunch of wienies with there heads stuck up somewhere, yes that is directed at naysayers that have no clue about when they are given real information.

Bnut knows so very little that he has to believe what anyone tells him.  He
is inferior and wants so badly to be important.  He passes whatever little
gossip he hears.  Sir, you are irrelevant.  Now your sop is to start calling
names and insulting--go ahead.  Most people have your number.  Buy and sell
a ball, everyone will love you again.

Ebonite says you need to buy every new Ebonite, Columbia, Track & Hammer ball that comes out because they all have a differnt cover....

LOL if you beleive they are all different...

Yes i sent you a pm telling you what to do nextbowler please post for everyone, i will gladly send an address to meet if needed.

So i guess every cover over the last 10 years is this same and everyone on here is an idiot for ever buying anything from the same company or from other companies that share the same owners.

Maybe you guy's should all make this bible reviews and go have a big group hug, sounds to me like zoobowling is a rep that was canned. Zoobowling is basically admitting he lied to people to keep his job for years, you should print an article telling everyone about all the lies for us.

I generally agree with mrbowlingnut. Concepts are the same such as oil absorbancy, but the covers are not the same formulations, particles/loads, etc... Example: You'll never see GB 10.7 on Hammer balls. The Juiced was close to 10.7, but the rate was different and the overall formula.

I would hope that each company has their own r&d depts cause Ebonite Covers suck they crack easy and do not last long. On the other hand Hammers covers seem to last alot longer and not crack, i have seen alot Ebonite stuff come back to the pro shop cracked, and no Hammer stuff has come back cracked or dead yet.

Funny you say that, because I was on Ebonite's national staff for 8 years and tested the initial Hammer brand when it was re-introduced.  You can say they are not sharing covers, when the only real fact is that they are not sharing names.  As long as the resins are coming from and being poured by the same company, the covers are all from the same family.

You can have three pitchers of Orange Tang, and add a little more or a little less sugar to each one, but it's still Tang.  And its still the same formula, some a little sweeter, some a little weaker.

nextbowler,

From your posts I have seen in this thread, what a sad, sad life you must live! I feel sorry for you. You're not revealing any truths; you just trying to bring us your level of extreme cynicism.
