Hammer Vibe is a great ball for light oil to dry.

If your looking for med to dry then the Doom is your ball.  Actually the Doom is more for med to light oil not real dry.  No reactive ball works on real dry.

not sure which one to get because i bowl at two different bowling alley one is medium oil and the other one is light oil and i don't want to get two balls i'm torn which bowl to get.

The Doom will handle med oil without a problem.  In fact I feel it works on Med oil better than light.  Just a great ball period!!

doom sounds like a good ball but i'm looking at spec and both widow and no mercy have Violent Reactive coverstock. and the doom is performance. and someone explain the difference the violent reactive sound stronger. i'm still new to this stuff.

The BW and NO MERCY are very strong balls but are mor geared towrds med to heavier oil patterns.  If you are looking for a ball that can be used on med to light oil then the Doom is your ball.

Since your new to this tuff I want you to think about something.  Don't get to caught up in the hype of the new releases.  Yes the BW and NO MERCY seem to be great equipment.  however if you don't use the correct type of ball for the amount of oil your bowling on then you wont get good results.

Take a look at the Dooms reviews on this site.  This ball is awesome.  Don't let the price fool you. This ball and the Pain have to be the best hitting balls ever made in my opinion.

I would have to say Black Widow here without looking back. I haven't thrown any of them except that black widow which i have and if you are looking for versatile look no further. I have had ,mine at OOB, 2000 abralon, and right now at 800 grit grey scotch brite and let me tell you i haven't found a lane it doesn't work on from light to heavy it is dangerous. And the cover is takes great with alterations.
