Black Widow Layouts
« on: July 18, 2006, 05:59:24 AM »
Do you guys think having the Pin up is better on this ball since it
is suppose to have a skid flip reaction?

Do you think putting the pin under fingers will change the reaction?

its up to you buddy.

its not our ball, its yours.

what are you looking for in it?

i've always liked my balls to keep hooking and hooking, thats why i always have the pin above the fingers.

I drilled the pin above the fingers on mine, and love the reaction.  Only used it on a high scoring house shot so far, but averaging over 240 in my first 11 games with it.  Gives me a ton of area, and excellent carry.  Going to try it at a house tomorrow with a tougher house shot, so we'll see how it does there, and if the results are as good, relatively speaking to the shot.

Just curious how you guys are drilling yours and what
type of reaction you are getting. From throwing certain
balls and drilling them to roll early when they are a
go long and hook ball sometimes kills the reaction of the
ball totally. That's all.

I have a Widow coming and got some layout ideas from
Graham who works for Ebonite.
