i just looked at the stats on the black widow and black widow pearl that are the same in 14lb ( weight i bowl) would the pealised cover still make any diffrence or should i just get another bw drilled diffrent?

Cover plays the most important role in ball reaction. The change from solid to pearl will be quite noticeable if you used the same layout. Without getting too technical, the numbers you are comparing all have to do with the core. Both balls use the exact same core and thus the identical numbers.

Like any other pearl, the cover of the BW Pearl is going to get through the first 25-30 feet cleaner and have a little more angularity at the backend part of the lane. Since you have no profile, we can't really give you a true idea of what the best decision would be. If you are going to get the BW and drill it differently, you might as well just get the Pearl to complement the Solid. ALSO.....it depends on what you are looking for in the next ball you decide to get.
