This drilling is good for up the backers....or when there is a lot of friction in the heads and mids and you want a late big backend a long way past the pattern.

I have had it work on strong cored(lower rg) bowling ballser on the above listed patterns.  More up the backers can use it on more oil than side releasers).

As an on the side releaser on a pattern with oil this type of drilling does nothing!(it moves too late!)

When put on Assymetricals it is called Assymetrical flip or Flip/D....

Sorry, I shouldn't assume that because a layout doesn't work for me it won't work for other people, especially Righties.  I'm just careful about drilling out portions of a core and then drastically changing the position that it is in to redrill it.  Also, I have trouble understanding why that layout is necessary to hit a house shot.  Ultimately, though, if it's fun and something new, why not give it a go, right?  Sorry if I was a bit abrupt or rude before.

No problem.. If you read one of my earlier replies I mentioned that my driller would not have let me try this layout if I didn't have a low axis tilt.  This layout makes the ball look like it's being thrown by someone with twice the axis tilt that I have.

For some bowlers I could see that happening, but for me it's cleaner through the heads and midlane than it ever was with the previous layout and it still moves just as much, if not more (relatively speaking), than it did before.  I feel this ball is now not so darn condition specific for the way I throw the ball...

Lucky Lefty is basically saying the same thing as I am... just with fewer words...
