Label.

First, a question or two. or three.
1. Are the logos in white, or red?
2. Is the pin blue, or red?
3. Is the pin in, or out?

There''s a thread where Mo Pinel recommends if it''s a pin in Faball Hammer (pin inside CG circle) then to use the plastic ball layout he came up with which they were using in the recent plastic ball championship...

If it is a pin out one, then you can use a double thumb layout Mo Pinel says, which I guess would get the maximum reaction from it.

I''ve yet to try this but am curious about someday giving it a shot, sounds intriguing. If you do please post back the results here, I''ve got a bunch of old faball hammers all drilled label and interested in converting them.

You will have no use for the Blue Hammer at the WC in Munchen due to the fact we are playing on Medium and Long. Next years european championships it will do some serious damage

+1 - probably the only useful thing to do with it. Did it on mine, too, and it works well. Most of the balls recation and traction come from its surface prep, so the core has even less impact than on more modern balls.
Just put the CG/label in the palm, and its pin (it is the same color as the coverstock, you might have to search a bit but it won't be more than 2" away from the CG!) at 45° above and to the right of the CG, wherever it ends up.

Do you mean this, given that P0wa is a lefty?
I would echo the sentiment for a label drill, or near to it. I have a U dot which is drilled about an inch off-label (off to the left for me, righty) and it gets about 3/4" track flare, so something similar might work for you. If you''re bowling medium and long, it might be worth looking at playing the blue Hammer off board one on the medium. It''d have to be an incredibly high friction surface to be usable on the long.
EDIT: One question. Why are you drilling a urethane hammer when you have a natural? Aren''t they going to do a pretty similar job?

Although I love my Natural, in my experience carry is far, far better with my Blue Hammer!

ueh medium? the patterns allready known? i didn't think so....
I have a natural but you can't compare it with my blue hammer and my grenade who are both 20years old. If you throw 3 balls with the natural it's all greecy or how do you write it.... at first i liked it till i threw with the grenade... rotogrip brought a new one out i got the old one
When i was in Aalborg @ the european championship last year what i saw there of old balls i was stunned, i saw blue & black hammers i saw quantums i saw beasts and most who scored played with urethaneballs.
You can check my vids i posted vids of the EMC and you'll c who's in the finals and with what balls.
Ball is drilled i'll upload tomorrow a photo of it
thanks for the replies guys

Yeah the patterns are known (med/long) just not exact lengths - check the WMC website.
No way will urethane be in play on that lane surface in Munich. I played there in April and that new Anvilane surface is so so slick. I'm going to take between 8-12 balls which all be usable on both lengths with the correct speed and tilt/rotation adjustments. Going to be tough thats for sure in Munich!
I was at the EMC - urethane was the best choice for the short! I've drilled urethanes for my customers who are playing in the WYC in Helsinki, Finland.
