Blue/silver taboo vs. Nano pearl
« on: October 03, 2011, 08:48:04 AM »
Hey everyone just needed a quick opinoin.  I currently have a Nano and am trying to see what would better compliment it.  From that Nano on the fresh I typically drop straight down to a Hammer Onyx Vibe. Yes... A pretty wide gap.  So for those that have thrown the NANO PEARL and/or Taboo Blue/Silver.  What would best compliment the Virtual Gravity NANO?  Please keep in mind I am trying to keep this for tournament play rather than THS.

Thank you

My opinion is you may be better off adding a ball that fits more in the middle of those 2 you already have.  Both the Nano Pearl and Taboo Blue/Silver are still going to be heavy oil balls, albeit with a little different motion than the original Nano, but very comparable in overall hook.

I would recommend looking at a ball like the Epidemic perhaps, going to get good length with pretty strong overall hook, but when in terms of the Nano, will be more skid flip when the front of the lanes burn out but you still need the angle the Onyx Vibe may not provide.  Also, the new black magnetic core really provides some extra energy at the pins that most others do not.  Impeccable carry.
