Doom's coverstock

Is the Doom's coverstock pearlized or polished reactive? I'm thinking about getting it, but lately I've not been matching up real well with pearlized stuff for some reason.

The Doom is a pearlized reactive.  If you don't like pearlized balls or have not had great success with them the Doom may change your mind.

If you don't like the reaction you get from the Doom in it's box condition then dull it to kncok the polish off.  Then polish it with matte polish by ebonite.  Great stuff and reall smooths out the back end reaction but will allow it to handle more oil.
