There are similar reports on how to get a great deal at Bowling Ball. Com using their gift certificate discount through Google Checkout. I just bought a brand new No Mercy for $85 and probably should have gotten it for $75 but it wouldn't take a $10 discount code (no problem, I was happy to save $50).

Here's how it works:  you buy a $30 gift card and pay for it through Google Checkout. Google knocks $10 off it. Yep, you get a $30 card for $20.
 
Google gives you another $10 off your order automatically.
 
So, the No Mercy Was $135 with shipping. You buy 4- $30 gift cards for $80 (which equals $120 in credit) throw in the $10 automatic discount (for $130 total) and you have $5 left to pay for a total of $85!!!!!! MAKE SURE YOU BUY EACH GIFT CARD INDIVIDUALLY---SEPERATE ORDER FOR EACH. DON'T BUY 4 CARDS ON THE SAME ORDER.
 
It's a bit of work but I just did it and saved $50. The gift certificates are sent via e-mail. Mine arrived within just a few minutes. There's also a promotional code....NLGC10 that is worth another $10 off but everytime I entered it it said the cart was invalid.

From BowlingBall.Com: USE THE CODE FB10 and receive an additional $10 off ALL orders over $75. Too late for me but not you. This would bring the No Mercy to $75!!!!

I think your problem was that with the gift certificates, the order total was less than the amount of money you had in them...thats why it wouldn't accept your coupon code (I had 5 bucks left over when i bought something...so I bought a rosin bag)

There is also a coupon for 15 dollars off a 150 order (code is NL15)...this can't be combined with the 10 dollar code from bowlingball.com

No, I tried entering the code first, before the GC's and it wouldn't take it, but that was the newsletter code, not the other one which should work.

What a great deal though. I've really wanted a No Mercy to fill out my Hammer Arsenal and at these prices I couldn't resist.

So you just need to buy 4 seperate Gift Certs? Can you use all 4 in one item?

Watch out they have me on a watch list, they said i get shut down next time i pull the gift trick off again. So buy them all at once and then do it because you will be getting a warning email like me. It was google that wrote me not bowlingball.com but i have made out big on this deal overall, under 300 for nib angular one,action max,horizon solid and sst5's. I have one more gift cert. left but it never showed up so i am trying to get it resolved with bowlingball.com right now by emails.

use NL10 over 75 and NL15 over 150 that code will work

I used FB10 with 3 gift certs and it worked just fine. I found a wrist brace for $2.98 with free ship so my Toxic cost $62.98 shipped. They (bowlinball.com) kill you with shipping charges on small items such as rosin bags and such. It was like $6 bucks!! I just kept looking until I found something cheap ($2 or $3 bucks) that had free shipping and I found the wrist brace.

then google special could end anyday according to what Keith (The owner of bowlingballs.com).. If you are planning on taking advantage of the deal, I would do it asap..

I bought 11 today and had them all within minutes, but maybe google is wising up?
