The reason I ask is that I am looking for a solid to go under my Taboo, Infection, so after doing a little looking around it seems that the Grind would be better for me as the Brawl seems like an med to heavy oil ball and I would like something on the tame side.

The Brawl is going to be a stronger ball simply because of coverstock. The Grind has the original Black Widow cover on it while the Brawl has the Sting cover. Using the Grind you will see a much smoother and tamer reaction while the Brawl will give you much more motion downlane. Hope this helps.
