Is the Anger a good ball? What is best suited for?
Better polished or OOB?

The Anger is a great ball for medium to heavy conditions.  I haven't played with the surface on mine at all.  However, I did toss a buddys Anger that was polished and it was longer with alittle more pop at the back.

I love my Anger.... Only issue I have is that sometimes it will loose some it's hitting power if you play alot of boards.. I have left a few 7 - 10s.. I just got another used Anger.. and plan on adding polish to have it retain longer...
Both balls are drilled with pin under, with CG kicked out.... That is the drill pattern I have seen the most...

I was wondering if the Anger is absorbs alot of oil.. and make need to be baked our not.. I have heard the Widows are known for that...

I liked the Anger and still feel it's a great piece.  I like the reaction shape the Anger has.  The ball can cover a ton of conditions with the correct surface prep.

I've got two of them:

#1~ drilled 3 3/8" stacked leverage right of the fingers, 500 abralon surface. Excellent ball for heavy oil. This thing hooks as much as any ball I've ever used for heavy stuff.

#2~ drilled modified Rico, pin under ring, cg @ 45*, 4000 abralon, then hit with the secret sauce. Great up the lane ball, very rolly and predictable.

Excellent ball IMO.
