well really liked the ball alot at first but now it labors to get to the pocket. yes i extracted the oil out. was thinking about about roughing up the cover a bit to help it get more bite when it hits the friction. any suggestions are welcome. thanks

make sure the ball is free from oil and adjust the cover down to 2000 abralon. Try it unpolished first and see if it is what you are looking for. If not give it some polish.

strikenout...
If you want the BWP to have more bite on friction I would suggest to hit the surface with 1000 Abralon and then 2000 Abralon, then light polish. For some reason the Ebonite factory finish seems to work the best for me. Leaving the BWP roughed up seems to mellow out the back end for most people. My wife who has slower ball speed likes the snap that the polish gives her BWP. The weight block in the BWP has has a lot to do with the best over all reaction with the polish.

Sanding the cover will help it bite more in oil but less when it encounters friction. Dont forget to move around a little and find better friction. The lanes most deffinatly will have changed from the first time you used it.
