RAW HAMMER ANGER MINI REVIEW

LAYOUT: Stacked leverage pin 3 3/8" from pap, cg stacked, balance hole 5.5" straight over on mid-line.

COVER GRIT: 2000 grit abralon (box surface)

BOWLERS STATS IN PROFILE

HOOK:  The ANGER is a very powerful.  In it's box surface it will handle med all the way up to heavy long patterns with ease.  This ball can easily be the heavy oil ball in an arsenal.

For those that like comparisons, the ANGER is stronger than the PAIN.  The PAIN and ANGER are both very strong in the mid-lane but the ANGER'S a lot more on the back end.  The coverstock of the ANGER seems to handle oil a bit better than the PAIN as well.

CONTROL:  The ANGER is the definition of smooth and control.  The way this ball blends out a pattern is just amazing.  It's smooth thru the heads, strong and smooth thru the mid-lane all the way to the pins.   This ball is a great asset on tough lane patterns.

HIT:  It's a Raw Hammer!  I should just leave it at that but I wont.  This ball just knocks the snot out of the pins.  The DOOM carry's light pocket hits like no other ball i've ever seen.  The ANGER carry's high pocket hits better than any ball i've ever seen.  Every ball in the Raw Hammer series hit's great!

NEGATIVES:  The only draw back i've seen so far with the ANGER is carrydown.  In it's 2000 grit box surface it wont handle large amounts of carrydown.   I have not brought the cover down lower than the 2000 grit box surface.  I'm sure if the cover was brought down to 500 grit it would fair a lot better on carrydown.  You also need to stay away from short or dry lane patterns.  The ball is just too strong for those type of patterns.

OVERALL:  The ANGER is THE ball to have for tough lane patterns.  It has worked well for me on the PBA patterns. This ball wont overreact on the really dry back ends.   I also loved the reaction on THS.  Short/dry pattern will give this ball trouble.  It's just too strong for those types of conditions.

I'm very pleased with this ball.  It's a winner in my book!
