I had one Hawk. I was able to use it on mediums with fresh backends. For me, the ball had a touch more midlane than expected, but it still turned the corner strong and had great continuation through the deck. If you want truly skid-flip, you may want to look into a length drilling. You may also want to message Chitown; he has been singing the praises of this ball since it came out. I'm pretty sure he has two of them. Overall, though, I think this is a very solid medium-condition ball at a great price. I doubt you'd be disappointed if you picked on up.
