I like mine, though I expected it to do something different than how I had the ball drilled.
Call me a between a cranker and a tweener. Nearly the same tilt as Robert Flunder IV, but nothing like a big baller like a Jeremy Hunt. So coming into it, I was thinking that the layout I had on my FB would get me similar results to them.
I was totally wrong.
I had it drilled pin down, and a weaker drill than my heavy rolling balls, so it totally took skid/flip out of the equation. So it really had me stumbled... Until I realized that it suited my B game (down and in, like Duke/Handegard) better than my A game. So when I squared up with that ball and went straight up 8 and gave myself room of no more than 2 boards to the right, I saw results, and liked what I saw. It was almost similar to what Scott Norton was seeing when he won last year.
Now, this will completely differ from what everyone else should have seen, and this was on any THS out there. But I put that down to it being the layout of the ball, rather than motion and performance expected out of it.
I'm contemplating either getting another one and laying it out pin up, or redrilling my current one pin up and bringing in an Amp Up. Haven't decided yet.
