It does seem a bit slow in the "Hammer World"

However...I'm watching my granddaughter, so I have time:

I would like to see a bit better site, maybe a lane diagram, as Ebonite has, Tweener/Cranker/Stroker as Storm has, however, it is better than it was 2 years ago.

Balls, It seems to me that Hammer is stuck in the Cut Throat cover, I'd like to see a few new covers, different and a Mid Priced Med/Light ball something between the Blades ( which I think are killer balls) and the VIBE.

OK, I started it, up to you guys/gals to finish it.

I have wondered, since in theory, Hammer and Ebonite are the same, what would happen if a Hammer cover was put on , say XXcel core ? or a Trimax cover on a Hammer core ?...just wondering out loud.

Don't own Hammers, but they are my #2 best sellers.

As of last week I am out of bowling for awhile as I have a calf tear so I am not sure how long before it will heal. It will be a miniimum of 6 weeks but It may be twice that long so I am really at a loss at what to do with myself.

Currently I have the following hammers all 15lbs:

The Real Deal-polished
Pure hammer just got this have one polished and one NIB
The Deal- waiting on this one NIB
Blade Reactive-NIB
Fabal Hammer 3 D Super Flip-my prize!
Faball Hammer 3 D Offset Max
Faball Hammer Nail- urenthane dry lanes
Faball Hammer Nail Reactive-used not drilled for me yet

The Real Deal is one of the best hammers I have bowled with. But I have an affection for the old hammers. Before my injury I was using the Real Deal, the Super Flip and the Hammer Nail urethane, for dry lanes.

The Pure Hammer I haven't gotten to use these enough to have a good judgement on them but when I did use it seems to leave me lots of spares to shoot at. For dry lanes the Hammer Nail was a better choice for me which surprised me how much it turned in the dry. Actually just not sure what these PH's would be best for and now I have two! I bought two because it was hard to find the first one in 15lbs and then the next week saw one on Ebay and had to have it as well. I could always sell them but not for now. I love the look of the Black Pure Hammer, very attractive cover polished. The new Burgandy one is just so, well, Burgandy! yeck. Might be a good ball though, it is a hammer!

Of the newer balls I wouldn't mind trying the Big Rig looks like a winner for medium and normal league play and Vibe looks good for a drier lane ball. I wish they would be a little more creative with there colors in the covers so many are just blah multi colors. To many of the newer balls seem to have these strong covers and just don't need those, especially particle balls. The Big Block looks like a good ball I have seen it used by several people but the cover is rather blah resembles a Storm Ace to me. What would be nice is a Real Deal in a pearl, same color. As mine is polished to be useful here. Thats why I ordered the Deal to have the same core but that would go longer for normal league play but now that I see it I think the Big Rig might have worked just as well.

Well just thought i would express a few words about my love for Hammers. Why don't some of you hammer fans list and talk about your hammer arsenals to get this forum moving a bit? take care all . HLT

Big rig diesel is a great ball. Rolls very similar to an ultimate inferno. Shot 299 first league session with it. Pin is under fingers on grip center, cg kicked out 1",no hole need and polished with ebonite factory finish. Ball clears the fronts very well, reads midlane very well, strong arc on back. Very good ball that I have in my arsenal.

Wanna get this forum alive, try listing an item here that's $10 more than another online proshop.  At least you'll have the efforts of Mr. Southland in your corner.

Got the New Hammer Hawg 2 weeks ago. Haven't tried on a flood yet.
I am anxious to see what it can do. It really goes long then revs
up and hooks. I agreee that it is just like the Big Deal but sharper on the back. It really hits hard but whenthe lanes break down this ball revs up and
rolls out like any other high end ball. I hope to see this ball
on TV this year by the pros.

Anybody got the High Rev or Razor Blade? How are those two?

I sold a Razor Blade to a guy here, it is sharp...not the biggest hook in the world, could be him as well, but the backend was killer ! I didn't really get down to inspect the lanes, but at best it was a med maybe slightly heavy side of med, that's about all they do here.

If you have med and want a great backend HARD drivin' ball, that's the one.

What hammer do you guys like to use for a Wet/dry condition both for Wood and Synthetic?

Which Ball, Layout and sufrface?

Typical Wet/Dry with a 10 to 10 heavy crown, 5 to 10 med and 5 and out OB.

I have just drilled 3 Hawgs for different customers and So far all 3 are extremely happy with them.
One of the guys I shipped to in Missouri loves it on the beat up wood lanes he bowls on and says its very versatile.

The Guy I shipped to in Australia has said pretty much the same thing.
The local Guy here in Upstate NY i had to work with a bit to get him to match up with the league condition but he's striking like mad now!

would love to see this as a pearl as well. Which I assume is next?

There was to be 3 Hawg balls out this season, I'm sure one will be a pearl, IMO that would just be logical, particle..pearl..reactive..just me thinking out loud.

I have a Hawg, Razor Blade, Big Rig, and TWO High Revs.  Hammer right now is succeeding in providing its users with a wide variety of ball reactions on a variety of surfaces.  Razor Blade and Big Rig get me through on the House conditioins, and some toughers shots.  But, these two balls get me through league night.
