Widow Venom, Raw Psycho, and Emerald Vibe if you wait another month and a half there is a New Hammer rumored to be coming out.

The venom is not an good heavy oil ball. If you are bowling in tournaments, I would suggest Anger, Psycho, Cherry Vibe.

I dont know what my rev rate is. I would say its pretty decent though. I throw the ball about 16 MPH.
Here is a video of me throwing a TNV on what was supposed to be the scorpion. The machine left much to be desired by the gutters though. Still some bounce outside of 3.

Whatever you decide on make sure it includes a Psycho. Specially for tournaments. Its really the only ball in the Hammer lineup that has a different look than the rest.

I would choose these for a small tourney arsenal.

Anger
Blue Vibe (dulled to a lower grit)
Blue Vibe (box condition)

I'm not a big fan of the BW series for tough patterns.  The BW series bowling balls are very strong on the backend of the lane and can be hard to control on tougher patterns.  I'm sure the correct layout could tame down the backend reaction to make it more useable on tough patterns but the BW series balls themselves are beasts on the backend.

I've been a big fan of Hammers equipment since the Doom came out.  I personaly like the Pain, Doom, Blue Vibe, Anger and NM the best.  To me those balls were top shelf on tough patterns.  I'm not as thrilled with the current line up of equipment as I was with the last couple years pieces.
