Post by: USAFweaponstroop on November 07, 2006, 11:11:15 PM
I just purchased some Clean N Tacky and have been just using rags...I read that it is better to use a Scotch Brite pad...Which one do I use for my Black Widow...the Coverstock is OOB and I would like to keep it that way...Thanks for your help...Joe

I'd stay with rags or a micor fiber towel. A sanding pad will, well, sand the surface. Even when you use it for a dull surface, you will probaly only achieve across hatch sanding pattern, and not a directed pattern for which you need a spinner. IMHO it is overdone to use a sanding pad any time you just want to clean the surface.

For a polished surface, I'd use something soft and non-abrasive to apply the cleaner. Rags or micro fiber are 1st choice for me here, too, esp. micro fiber, since it has a mechanical but non-abrasive additional cleaning element to it.
