Lots of carry down. Hawg? Hawg Zilla? Black Widow? I'm talking about oily lanes with lots of carry down.

Hawg or road hawg is perfect both have some length, i can tell you black widow straightens out of me in box finish. My hawg zilla hooks at my feet which is great because that is what i wanted, so dont even think hawg zilla in box is a good choice.

The first Hawg is particle pearl and handles oil really well, plus they are cheap closeouts right now.

I've heard that Hawg for flooded carry down lanes/ Hawg Zilla for heavy oil/ Black Widow is more for medium-heavy. But any Hawg or Widow will do. My Hawg Wild is great for medium, heavy, flooded, and so on! But out of your choices, I'd say Hawg Zilla because it's top of the line tech. a year more than the Hawg, and a month more than the Black Widow.

Well I don't know a whole lot about the hammer line, but if you could get a rule gp2 and shine the cover, i think it would work great.  You can also try lofting the ball more to get it past the heads, you could use a more aggressive cover then.  This is never an easy condition to hit, another option may be something low flaring with an aggressive drilling and just play a fairly straight line, you wouldn't have to worry about the ball revving up to early in the heads...i have a green centaur which could work very well if you have some dry boards to the right.  I would talk to some of the track and visionary guru's on the site...you could probably even email del warren or frankie may....

My son sees that type of condition most every Saturday in youth league. They get all the carry down from Friday night leagues with 35 foot filler shot laid on top of the left over oil. Thursday I resurfaced then sanded down an old Hammer Blade drilled 4x4 with 500 grit abralon. Today he shot 226 198 235. Considering his average is only 190 we were more than pleased with the results. I personally never much cared for the Blade but this goes to show that on the right condition with the right surface prep that a lot of low end balls can deliver big time results. Cheaper yet on eBay
