saw blade dull or shiny?

I was thinking of dulling up my saw blade. I would use a green scotch brite pad. Do you like the reaction better shiny or dull? I am looking to have the ball read the lane earlier. Is this a good ball to dull up?

I had my saw blade first with polish OOB and it was jumpy. Ever since ive hit it with 1000 grit sand paper every 2 weeks or so and its my go to ball. Pic in profile. Its got a good midlane read and a controll flip int eh backend. Best ball ive ever thrown since the Sharp Blade of mine.
