how was the purple vibe and how does it compare to the rest of the vibe series?

From what I understand, the Purple Vibe is angular like the Cherry Vibe.  The Blue Vibe is the strongest but has more of an arc type reaction.

I don't think you can go wrong with any Vibe!  Probably the best entry level balls made!  In fact, take the polish off the Blue Vibe and it's a heavy oil beast!

Correct. The Cherry is also consistently smoother, but it still delivers on the backend. The Blue is the most versatile ball in the lineup, arcing and smooth. The Purple is much more skid-snap because the cover is Max-Flip like the Doom.

I'd say go Cherry because the reaction is more consistent than the Purple.

The cherry is a stronger version of the purple. Same look and reaction, just stronger
