could it be..... i think so
« on: April 07, 2011, 02:51:43 AM »
I've been using my victory roaad a lot lately and shootn good with it.  Just for kciks I pull out of the garage my old cherry vibe.  Had been struggling on wed night league as two of my teammates are tweeners who throw the same line.   Thought I would stay inside their line and their virtual and shift.  Bowled a nice little 685.  232, 229, 224.                 Could it be that the vibe series is the best ball line of all time?  Been over a year and it picked up right were it left off and kicked the 10 out all night.  I will say that for a house shot, and if you know how to throw a ball (not just the 10 board crowd but hand and techinique guys, everyone else no offense, and I know walter ray throws out side) that this is the best ball line ever?

I think you are correct in thinking that just maybe the cherry vibe is a member of a greatest ball line ever. I have 2 Chery Vibes and the Blue Vibe. My Cherry Vibe is just playable or should I say usuable pretty much anywhere in my area. I love my Cherry Vibe and I'm hoping that the one I saw on the usbc approved list is not an overseas release.

The Vibe series is a great line at a great price. Part of that is because of how aggressive many bowling balls are today it can cause people to get in trouble trying to use too strong a ball that isn't needed. On most THS and many other conditions it is easy to use something less aggressive and be more consistant longer with out making big adjusments and in many cases score higher. Had a lot of success this year doing that with my Power Groove.

For most people on most conditions it is hard to have a good series with some of the newer super covers because of how fast the oil breaks down and the shot goes away.

Be good, or be good at it.
