Just wondering what surface changes anyone's done with their BWP. Looking to see what reactions you've got with changes. Thinking about 1000-2000 abralon with no polish?
Any suggestions?

Mine is 2000 no polish and it's a different ball, for me. Much better, on the med/heavy I usually see harder turn, better carry. Still a few 10 pins but that's me not the ball.
I tries Delayed Reaction, lightly applied it's better than OOB but when I took off all polish and went 2000, that's the reaction I was looking for.
I will say, it's not as "pretty" a ball that way but I never care about looks it's results I need.

The drilling I've got now is pin over the bridge, cg kicked right, MB about 1 1/2"-2" right of thumb, weight hole about half way up. The ball seems squirty with the 4000 OOB, so I thought maybe 2000 would be a good start on a change.
Anyone else?

I would definitely recommend taking the polish off. Mines at 2000 and like AZ said its a different ball. Handle carry down a little better and is not so touchy.

I know this ball has to have potential, it's got Widow in the name, lol. I'm just hoping to get it dialed in, and really bring it alive. Sounds like 2000 would be a good start, and then maybe 1000 if that doesn't work.
2000 should be a big jump from 4000 polished OOB though.

I just hit my BWP with Green Scotch-Brite.
Wow, what a difference! Much more bite, perfect for heavy oil conditions.
Is it safe just to use scotch-brite and nothing else?
