Got them both drilled up yesterday. All I can say is HOLY CRAP THAT THING HOOKS.
The Scandal, for me, forced my feet 10 boards left of the Dark Legend. It sets up a huge roll, and I don't know that I've seen pins fly around as much as that thing throws them.
The shot was a lightly played House, 38 feet on Brunswick synth's.
Scandal - Stood 35 at the start, laying down at 30 and crossing arrows at 20. Breakpoint was 8 board.
The motion was consistent, not jerky or snappy. It starts hard in the mids, and grabs harder on the back while rolling.
I've never had a ball that flared as much as this one does. I'd say 60+ % had flare rings.
Pin left the most? The 9 pin.
Dark Legend - Stood 27, laydown at 22. Crossed at 15. Breakpoint at 10.
Had to be really careful not to feed this one into the dry too early. Getting it outside of the 10 board made it rev up and snap WAY too hard. First shot I tried putting it to 5 and watched it go brooklyn from grabbing so much.
The Dark Legend cover is much more sensitive to oil/friction than the Scandal for me, making it a little more specific for shots. Overall a very strong ball, however, and fun to throw!
Pin left most - 9 Pin.
Going to be trying them on fresher Brunswick Synth's with a heavier oil content tonight, so will update further!
