Hawg Zilla and Tony Reyes!

Great to see the 300 and have Tony win his first title using the Hawg Zilla. Very few people throw Hammer around here but after using the Raw Doom I built a whole arsenal this late Summer consisting of the BW, Hawg Zilla/Wild and Doom line and have beeen telling fellow bowlers that this is the year Hammer regains its prominence after losing many devotees from the 90's and early 2000.

I'll tell ya, the HZ is one smooth but hard hitting ball. It reminds me a lot of the Blue Hammer in that it's all about control with a very smooth arc, yet, it saves it's final move just before pocket entry and revs up hard. In my original review I stated that it's not for floods and in my opinion in anything other than a very aggressive layout it's not, but on medium light to medium heavy patterns it possesses all the characteristics we look for in a great ball. It rarely overreacts and gives a great read to the lane.
