We have made a layout to get good lenght and a nice backend reaction.
Our choice of layout is based upon that the asymmetric weightblock has a lot of flarepotential, and the ball will not skid and snap that hard like it would have done with a symmetric weightblock.
I´ve played on both fresh oil and when it has been “worn downâ€.On a fresh lane the Black Widow had nice skid with a easy to read midlane and a hard but controlled backend. It had better length then both of my Road hawgs and better pop on the backs, and not as sensible as my Raw Doom. I belive that the Black Widow does not respond that hard as many other balls do when the oil is starting to break down. I just moved my game a couple of boards to the left, were still able to cross the dry areas that other bowlers had created without seeing the ball “bouncing†or loosing power.
This is indeed a great ball.
